For

Use in a massage oil for acne and oily skin, skin diseases and irritation, decongestant for the lymph- and venous system; heart tonic.

Citing an excerpt taken from Susanne Fischer-Rizzi’s great book “Complete Aromatherapy Handbook”, Sandalwood oil contains strong aphrodisiac properties (men’s underarm perspiration releases androsterone, a substance very similar in chemical structure to the male hormone testosterone; and androsterone, in light concentrations, smells like sandalwood. It seems that sandalwood – like underarm perspiration – sends out barely perceptible, but rather effective, erotic signals to the opposite sex ☺)

Use as an inhalant by mixing sandalwood oil with eucalyptus and peppermint oil for badly clogged noses and colds.

When used in the diffuser, it works against depression, nervous tension, aggression, egocentricity; euphorizing; creates inner peace and satisfaction.

In cosmetics: Due to its calming, healing, moisturizing and antiseptic properties, Sandalwood oil is particularly suitable for dry, brittle, and inflamed skin.

Important: Please read our Usage & Safety Guidelines before using any oil.
